at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center
The Class of 2026 Induction Ceremony will take place on Saturday, July 18th 6:00 PM at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center banquet hall.

1968 State Champion Track Team | Dunbar High School
The great athletes at Dunbar High School would secure another State Championship for the proud Panther tradition. This time it was the 1968 Dunbar Track Team.
Wayne Davis led the way with a State Championship effort in the 330 Yard Intermediate Hurdles in a time of 38.5. He would join teammates Charles Sims, Sidney Hall, and Roy Davis to bring home the gold medal in the 4x440 Relay.
They ran a time of 41.24 which was the UIL Class 3A state and meet record at that time.
The team wrapped up the championship by finishing 3rd in the Mile Relay.
