Quincy White | 1963 - 1965 | Dunbar High School | Boy's Basketball

White was one of the premier basketball players at Dunbar High School, on a team of great players.

He was a one-year letterman for the Panthers and started on the 1965 team that won the Prairie View Interscholastic League State Championship.

During his senior year, Quincy was named All-District, All-Zone, and All-State.

White would continue his basketball career at Prairie View A&M where he would letter his first year. During that season, Quincy suffered a severe back injury. He tried to continue playing at Wenatchee Valley College, but the injury would end his basketball career.

In 2013, White was elected to the Lubbock Boys and Girls Club Hall of Fame.

Quincy White was one of the best basketball players in Dunbar history.

He continued the great tradition and built on the legacy of Panthers Basketball.
