Todd Duncan | 1983–1985 | Coronado High School | Boy's Basketball
During his 2 years on the Coronado varsity, Todd was named All City, All-District, and All South Plains.
He went on to play at Midland College where he led the team to two Conference Championships. Todd was named All-Conference following his sophomore year and played in the Texas Junior College All-Star Game. He holds the single season 3-point shooting record for Midland College with an astounding 53.4 completion percentage.
From there, Duncan headed to Texas Tech. He played for the Red Raiders from 1987 through 1989 and holds the career 3-point shooting record at Tech with a percentage made of 45.9.
After his playing career, Duncan went into coaching. He became the Head Basketball Coach and Athletic Director at Trinity Christian High School. His teams won many District Championships and TAPPS State Championships during his tenure at Trinity.
In 2011, Duncan became the Head Basketball Coach at Lubbock Christian University. He was named the 2021 Conference Coach of the Year and the National NCAA Division 2 Coach of the Year.
The Lubbock Boys and Girls Club elected Duncan to their Hall of Fame in 2015.
