Penny DiPomazio | 1993–2023 | Lubbock ISD | Coach

Penny coached all Lubbock ISD schools as the Diving Coach from 1993-2023. She is one of the most decorated coaches in Lubbock ISD history.

During her career, Penny coached 44 National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) All-American Divers. She was named the Texas ISCA Dive Coach of the Year 5 times and the state TISCA Coach of the Year 2 times. Her dive teams won 2 State Championships.

DiPomazio won 26 District Coach of the Year awards for the Boys and the Girls teams, 23 Regional Coach of the Year awards for the Boys and the Girls teams and was selected as the Lone Star Varsity Coach of the Year. She holds the Craig Nolder Lifetime Achievement Award and the NISCA Life Outstanding Service Award. Penny was selected to the Elkhart County Sports Hall of Fame, in Indiana, for her outstanding career as a diver and track athlete.
